Each of these clocks is divided into upper and lower sections. The upper section is a clock with a fusee system and verge escapement. On the enamel dial, the hours are denoted with Roman numerals, the five-minute marks are in Arabic numerals, and each minute is marked by dots. It has a British balance cock, and the engraved imagery is of a falcon head and the face of a demon. The windup is on the back of the case, and the timekeeping rate can be regulated. The lower section is a music movement, and when switched on, it plays music and the heads of the human figures move until the music stops.
