Green Satin Coat for a Dog

Dimensions: Length: 60 cm; width: 43 cm

Specially tailored for one of Empress Dowager Cixi’s dogs, this coat for a dog is embroidered with crabapple-blossoms and chrysanthemums. This is one of many garments Cixi commissioned the tailors of the imperial workshops to make for her dogs.
