Period: Qing dynasty (1644 – 1911)
Medium: Jade
Dimensions: Height: 4.1 cm Width/Length: 5.1 cm

The seal is made of jade and has a knob in a trapezoidal shape. The inscription with the terms tianlu (abundance from heaven) and yongchang (eternal lasting) are a reference to a warning given to kings in the "Sayings of Yao" chapter of the Confucian Analects that reads,: "When your people suffer hardship and poverty, the abundance you enjoy from heaven will forever cease". This seal references the latter half of this admonition, converting the original yongzhong (cease forever) to yongchang (eternal lasting).
