Made of transparent blue glass, the square vase has a flared mouth, a long neck, and a flat bottom, in the middle of which is a Qianlong reign (1736-1795) mark in regular script enclosed by double square frames carved in intaglio. This vase is made by the Imperial Workshops, modeled ancient bronze ware. During the Qing dynasty (1644-1911), flower beaker vases were commonly used in the Five Sacrifices or used separately. This one has an elegant imperial shape as well as vitreous pureness.
