This porcelain snuff bottle has a melon-shaped body and a slim neck. A gilded copper spoon is attached to the gilded copper cover that is incised with flowers. The neck is painted with blue meandering patterns. Between the neck and shoulder is a string of beads, below which is a pattern of lotus petals. The stomach is divided into six panels in relief. Each is painted with enamel flowers with broken stems. The remaining area is covered with coral red and decorated with golden strips. The patterns combine to make a splendid snuff bottle. The bottom has a red reign mark in seal script, indicating that it was made in the Qinglong era.
