The Stage at the Studio of Exhaustion from Diligent Service (Juanqin zhai) at the Palace of Tranquil Longevity (Ningshou gong)

An ingeniously-designed indoor pavilion-shaped stage, it is located in a studio in which the interior walls and ceiling are covered with mounted paintings of Chinese wisteria. The bamboo in the painting connects harmoniously with the "bamboo" fences, which seems to be located right under a wistaria pergola.
