The Gate of Earthly Tranquility (Kunning Men) is a major gateway from the Three Palaces of the Inner Court (Hou san gong) to the Imperial Garden (Yu huayuan). Northward of the Gate of Earthly Tranquility is the Gate of Heaven's Primacy (Tianyi men), in between situated a huge bronze incense burner.
