Temporary Closure of the Forbidden City Walls

In accordance with the arrangements made based on the Forbidden City Wall Research and Conservation Project, in 2020, the city walls will be comprehensively monitored and partially restored. Visit to the city walls will therefore be suspended starting from 24 January 2020.
