Calligraphy Institute

The Calligraphy Institute draws from the Palace Museum’s collection of ancient Chinese calligraphy, rubbings, and documents related to calligraphy and explores questions related to ancient Chinese calligraphy that of art history, theory, and creation through research, academic dialogue, training, and exhibitions related to calligraphy for the advancement of the contemporary artistic development of calligraphy.
