The Life of the Last Emperor Pu Yi (temporarily closed)

Ascending the throne as a toddler in 1908, Pu Yi was allowed to live in the Forbidden City after the fall of the Qing dynasty in 1911. His life is chronicled in photographs and possessions on display in the Bower of Enchanting Scenery (Lijing xuan) located in the back courtyard of the Palace of Gathered Elegance (Chuxiu gong).
