Mirror with the Twelve Astrological Emblems

The center of this decorative mirror features a round knob, which is surrounded by a beaded circle like a string of pearls. The inner loop is decorated with an intertwining floral design while the outer loop displays the twelve astrological emblems (commonly known as the animals of the Chinese Zodiac). Each animal is found within its own area and divided with two lines from the flanking animals. The outer edge of the mirror is plain.
